The Ashley River Ramble is a fun event for everyone who can walk, run or bike. It is an 11km course along the southern stopbanks of the Ashley River. The Ramble starts at Waikuku and finishes at the Ashley Picnic Grounds, Rangiora. Money raised goes to a local community group.
When? Sunday 3rd March 2019. Cyclists start at 9am and walkers / runners at 9.10am
Where? Start at Waikuku Beach North Oval (90 Park Terrace) near the river estuary.
Finish at Ashley River Picnic Grounds (off Milton Ave) near the BMX Track, Rangiora

This year your entry ticket will go towards supporting the Ashley Rakahuri Rivercare Group, a volunteer group which protects endangered birds while recognising recreational use and river control works.

The 11km route follows the river stop banks from Waikuku [A] to Rangiora [B] with its changing vistas of farm and river.
The Ashley River Ramble is being run by Rangiora Lions, Rangiora Lionesses and Woodend Lions Clubs.
