The Ramble is a fun event for people of all ages to enjoy whilst raising money for a worthy local cause. You’re welcome to time yourself and record this on your participation certificate. Any prizes awarded are drawn at random from the entrants’ wristband numbers and not based on your placing.
Are you running transport back to the start (Waikuku Beach) from the finish (Ashley Picnic Grounds)?
Yes – there will be a minibus running from the end of the course back to the beginning. A $2 donation per person would be appreciated (no bikes sorry.)
When are the spot prizes drawn?
From 10am on. When you finish, grab a drink and check the prize board for your wristband number. If your number is shown, you’ve won the prize listed alongside.

Why are dogs not permitted?
Our health and safety plan does not allow dogs to be part of this event as there are risks mixing cyclists, runners and walkers with dogs. For people meeting you at the Ashley River Picnic Ground, normal park rules apply, which require any dogs to be on a leash at all times.
