Community Wellbeing North Canterbury Trust provides free social and community services that strengthen the wellbeing of families, children and young people in Waimakariri and the Hurunui.

Free services include:

• Family social work
• Mana Ake – promoting wellbeing and positive mental health for tamariki / children in primary school  
• Wellbeing support for rangatahi / young people including counselling and specialist alcohol and drug support
• Parenting programmes
• Early childhood education
• Food bank and community support through Kaiapoi Community Support 
• Restorative justice

As a Charitable Trust, CWNC rely on donations from people who care about North Canterbury to continue providing our free support to families across the Hurunui and Waimakariri, making them an ideal recipient of the money raised from the 2023 Lions Ashley River Ramble.
